Because they believe they won’t be able to have a man’s validation and approval and even support if they don’t act this way, especially in the post soviet countries I described where men do make fun of feminists a lot and tend to control women in a lot of ways. They don’t know what it’s like to have a different life and opinion, they are not very open and western minded due to their cultural and historical background and influence.
